TIL I hit 10,000 steps a day for a whole month without trying-just by walking my dog twice a day

I got a Fitbit for Christmas and checked it after 30 days, expecting maybe 5,000 steps average. Turns out my golden retriever Milo pulls me around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes total each day, and that alone added up to over 10k steps. Has anyone else accidentally reached a fitness milestone just by doing something you already did?

Wait, your dog really drags you 45 minutes a day and that's 10k steps? That's insane.

Nah, 45 mins of dog walking won't get you 10k unless that thing is sprinting.

Wait is your dog actually pulling you like you're on a sled or just walking fast? How long does it take you to cover a mile with that setup?
