Vent: My neighbor's trick for keeping squirrels off the bird feeder actually worked

She told me to grease the pole with petroleum jelly, and after a week, those little thieves are finally gone. Has anyone else tried something weird that actually fixed a yard problem?

Yeah, my grandpa swore by it for keeping squirrels off the pole, lol.
