Why does nobody talk about how much water a standard toilet flush uses?
I was reading the manual for my new Kohler toilet and it said each flush uses 1.6 gallons. I looked it up and found out older models from the 80s used over 5 gallons per flush. That's a huge drop in water use that just happened quietly. Do you think the newer low-flow models are actually effective, or do they just cause more problems?
