Had the worst Monday in months then everything flipped by Thursday
Monday morning my forklift battery died 20 minutes into the shift and a pallet of boxes tipped over in the cooler. By Thursday I somehow caught up on all the backorders and even got the crew out an hour early Friday. The weird part was Tuesday was completely average, no sign things would turn around. Has anyone else had a week where the bad start made the good finish feel even better?

Wait did you do anything different that Tuesday that maybe set up the good ending or was it just dumb luck that the backorders cleared themselves up? Like did your team pull together or was it something random like a supplier showing up early?

Man I swear I read something about this being like a psychological reset thing where the bad start actually makes your brain appreciate the good stuff more when it finally shows up. That Wednesday after a terrible Monday must have felt like finding a twenty in your old jacket. The cool thing is your team probably worked harder because they didn't want another day like Monday, so that bad start pushed everyone to lock in.
