I finally got tired of seeing identical inquiries clutter forums because of faulty search

After spending hours on different ask-anything communities, I've noticed a consistent issue with how inquiries are managed. I mean, the search tools often fail to surface existing responses, leading to endless repeats and wasted time, idk. Maybe it's just me, but is there a redesign or update that could make these systems more intuitive?

With identical inquiries, mastering Boolean search terms worked for me.

My own search history is just a long scroll of the same question phrased seven different ways. I'm starting to believe the real faulty algorithm is my own brain, to be honest. A better system would be nice, but I'd probably still ask the same thing tomorrow.
