Actually, @umar59, it might not be accidental at all. Store mannequins are set up to grab your attention and stir a reaction. Their stiff poses can come off as smug, like they're judging your outfit choices. It's only natural to talk back when faced with that silent attitude. We're just falling for the store's clever design meant to engage us.

Honestly I've totally caught myself giving a mannequin the side eye before. Tbh they always look so put together while I'm standing there in my work clothes covered in sawdust. Feels like they're silently judging my life choices.
