The $9 garage sale level that fixed my cabinet installs forever
I kept fighting with twisty trim pieces on jobs around Columbus. My scribing method was all over the place and I was wasting material every week. Then I saw a little magnetic torpedo level at a garage sale for 9 bucks and grabbed it on a whim. Turns out using it to transfer the exact wall angle onto the trim was WAY faster than my old eyeball method. Has anyone else found a cheap tool that quietly solved a nagging problem on site?

Did you catch that trick where guys use a level to trace the wall line instead of just holding it flat? I saw a video about that a couple weeks back and it makes way more sense than the whole pencil and tape method I've been doing.
