Why does nobody talk about how hard it is to find a good mechanic in Austin?
Tbh I took my 2014 Honda Civic to three different shops in Austin over the last month for a weird shaking at 60 mph. First guy quoted me $800 for new tires, second said it was a wheel bearing, third found a loose bolt on the control arm for $40. Learned the hard way that getting multiple opinions can save you hundreds, has anyone else dealt with shops just guessing at problems?

Man, my buddy got quoted $600 for a brake job that ended up being a $15 clip.
