Can we talk about how long it took to get a clear shot of Saturn's rings?

Back when I first started, I had to wait for perfect weather nights. My old camera needed long exposures that often got ruined by clouds. It took me three years to get a photo I was happy with. Now, with new tech, it's so much faster.

Seeing that comment about three years of work really hits home. I used to think waiting so long was silly, but your story changed my view. It's like @nathan492's useless hills, but sometimes patience leads to great results. My first telescope shots were always blurry.
