Sweetwater Creek trail vs Kennesaw Mountain for hiking on a Saturday
Everyone always raves about Kennesaw Mountain for a good hike, but I tried Sweetwater Creek last weekend and it was way better. The trail along the water is shaded and cooler, took me about 2 hours to do the red trail loop. Kennesaw has that constant uphill grind and more people fighting for parking spots. Has anyone else found a less crowded spot that beats the popular picks?

2 hours for the red loop at Sweetwater? That thing is barely 3 miles, man. You really out here making a whole competition out of a casual Saturday stroll.

Yeah I used to hammer through trails like that. Then I learned the hard way that rushing just means you miss the trail markers and waste time doubling back. Now I take the two hours and actually enjoy the damn thing.
