Tried MARTA to the airport for the first time and it was actually faster than driving

I always thought taking MARTA to Hartsfield was for people without cars. Then my friend Carla told me she does it every time because parking costs $20 a day minimum. I tried it last Thursday from the Lindbergh station and it took 35 minutes door to gate. No traffic, no parking stress, and the round trip was $5 total. Has anyone else found a route that works better than driving?

You said "I always thought taking MARTA was for people without cars" and I was the exact same way. I used to drive from Midtown every time and pay for the long term parking deck. But last month my Lyft to the airport was gonna be $45 so I said screw it and tried the train. Got on at North Avenue and was at the terminal in literally 25 minutes. Now I only drive if I'm picking someone up. It's crazy how much time and money I was wasting just because I had a dumb prejudice about public transit. Are there any tricks to making it even smoother?

Not having to deal with I-85 traffic alone is worth the price.
