Tried skipping the Marta during rush hour for bike lanes instead

I used to think biking in Atlanta traffic was just asking for trouble. But last week I was stuck at the Midtown station for 20 minutes waiting on a train that was delayed again. Decided to grab one of those rental e-bikes and took the 10th Street bike lane all the way to Piedmont Park. Got to my dentist appointment in 15 minutes flat. Anyone else found a good bike route that actually saves time over driving or Marta?

Yeah but did it even feel like a full 10 minutes or was it one of those days where you're just flying? Honestly, I'm convinced half the time the bike lanes cut traffic time in half for cars too since it gets more people off the road. Ngl though, last Tuesday was pretty clear weather wise, so that probably helped your speed. Tbh even 5 minutes saved is huge when you're rushing to punch that clock.
