Worst day at work in Buckhead last Thursday
I work valet parking at a restaurant off Peachtree. Last Thursday was just nonstop chaos. We had a customer drop their keys down a storm drain and a Mercedes get door dinged by a FedEx truck all within 20 minutes. To top it off the manager made me stay an extra hour to sort out the damage report. Has anyone else had a shift that just snowballed like that?

For sure @the_holly, I started keeping a spare key ziptied under my car after that.

Man, that storm drain thing is a nightmare I can relate to. We had a guy drop his house keys down a grate at the entrance once, and the maintenance guy had to fish them out with a magnet on a stick. Your shift sounds like it just kept piling on, like one bad thing after another. The door ding from a FedEx truck is unlucky too, especially when you know the customer is going to blame you even if it wasn't your fault. It's one of those jobs where everything that can go wrong does go wrong, and you're just standing there watching it all happen.
