Bought a $180 scan tool off a guy at the swap meet in Fresno, it bricked on the first diesel
Should've just put that money toward the OEM software subscription I kept putting off. Any of you running decent scan tools under $300 that actually handle regens and injector coding, or is it all junk at that price?
Wait, it bricked on the FIRST diesel? Like one plug in and done? That's brutal, 180 bucks gone in five minutes at the Fresno swap meet is a whole new level of pain. Kinda makes sense though, those cheap tools usually choke the second they hit real regen or injector coding work. Honestly anything under 300 that claims it can do those jobs is usually lying on the box.
