Customer at my shop in Dayton watched me pull a 10mm socket out of his own engine bay last Tuesday
He swore up and down he'd never worked on the car himself, then got real quiet when I asked how his own socket ended up wedged behind the alternator bracket, and I'm still trying to figure out if he was lying or just forgot he tried to DIY it, so has anyone else pulled a customer's own tool out of a job they claimed they never touched?
