Customer swore I was wrong about his serpentine belt noise, stood there for 20 minutes

Guy brings in a 2010 Camry with a squealing belt, tells me it's the tensioner because his neighbor said so. I popped the hood, found a seized alternator pulley in 90 seconds.

so did he actually admit he was wrong after you showed him the seized pulley or did he double down and keep arguing? i swear some people would rather trust their buddy who watched a youtube video once than the guy literally working on their car. gotta ask too, did he at least pay you for the diagnostic time after wasting 20 minutes of it?
