Pro tip: locking the flex fan with a bungee before pulling the water pump saved my knuckles
Kept fighting a stuck fan clutch on a 2004 Silverado in my Charlotte garage, so I looped a bungee through the pulley and the frame to hold it still. Has anyone found a better way to hold one of these without buying the special tool?
