Snapped a bleeder screw off a caliper on a 2011 Civic and had to tell the customer
Happened Tuesday on the lift, screw was rusted solid and twisted right off flush with the caliper. Got it out with a left hand drill bit and an extractor after 20 minutes, but now I keep a torch handy on every brake job, anyone got a better trick for stuck bleeders?
Cracked me up that you had to actually tell the customer, bet that was a fun conversation. Bleeders snapping flush is the worst because you know there's no easy way out once it happens. Honestly a little heat before you even try is the move, saves you the extractor dance every time.
