Stop torching every rusty bolt, PB Blaster and a 3 pound hammer beat my torch 9 times out of 10
Had an 04 Silverado with 180k miles in my Bay City shop last week and every exhaust stud laughed at my torch, so I soaked them twice a day for 2 days and they spun right out. Anyone else notice heat makes old rusted bolts worse, or am I crazy?

Sprayed the downpipe bolts on my 7.3 Powerstroke for three days straight with PB and they broke loose with a breaker bar while my torch just turned them into mush. Heat kills rusted studs, it does not help them.
