Switched from impact guns to hand ratchets for interior trim work
Used to zip off all the interior panels with my air impact last year until I stripped 2 screw heads on a 2015 Civic door card. Now I do it all by hand with a 1/4 inch ratchet and it takes maybe 3 more minutes total but I never have to order replacement clips anymore. Anyone else make this switch or am I just getting slow?

Not sure why everyone acts like stripping a few screw heads is some kind of career ending tragedy. I mean yeah it's annoying but you just replace the screw and move on. Feels like people overthink this stuff sometimes. Hand ratchet is fine for trim work but acting like impacts are some kind of menace is a bit much.

People get REAL dramatic about the smallest stuff on here. A stripped screw ain't the end of the world man.

Man, why do people always have to act like getting frustrated over something small makes you weak? Don't you figure some folks might just be venting after a long day instead of telling you what tools to buy? Like, who actually benefits from gatekeeping minor gripes on a forum like this?
