The before and after on a 2007 Civic's air filter was like comparing a clean kitchen sponge to a piece of burnt toast (it had been 5 years, the owner said they 'forgot' those existed).

Forgot those existed" is the real kicker! I had a guy come in last month with a weird rattling sound. Turns out he'd been driving for a year with a plastic grocery bag stuck in his wheel well, just flapping around. He said he thought it was "just one of those car noises.

Saw a post where someone's check engine light was on for months. They finally got it looked at and it was just a loose gas cap the whole time.
