A pilot at the local airfield said something about our work that stuck with me
He mentioned that a perfect comms check on his preflight made him feel more secure than any other system sign-off. I mean, I always knew comms were important, but hearing it framed as a primary safety feeling, not just a checklist item, hit different. Anyone else had a user's perspective change how you prioritize a routine task?

Ever notice how a simple "copy that" can make a whole plan feel solid?

Is it really that deep though? Like I've said "copy that" to my friend about grabbing pizza and it didn't suddenly make our plans feel official or anything. Sometimes people just say things without thinking too much about the weight behind them. But hey, if it makes you feel more locked in, I guess that's cool too.

Sandra's point about pizza plans doesn't really hit the same. Comms failures in a plane can kill you, but a wrong pizza order just means cold food. That pilot's perspective makes sense when the stakes are life and death.
