Found a funky ground loop on a King KX 165 yesterday

Was chasing a weird hum in the audio panel for like 3 hours, turned out a screw on the rear connector was barely loose. Tightened it up and the noise just disappeared, felt kinda stupid but hey, learned to check the simple stuff first. Anyone else had a gremlin that turned out to be just a loose connection?

Oh man, I feel that. Spent a whole afternoon once chasing a ghost in my GNS 430, swapped antennas, grounded the whole panel again, nothing worked. Turned out one of the coax connectors on the back just wasn't seated all the way. A firm push and click and it was gone. Makes you want to kick yourself but honestly those are the best lessons. You never forget to check the basics after a day like that, right?

Three hours on a ground loop once. Turns out it was just a loose wire under the dash. Felt like an idiot but also super relieved.
