Pro tip: I finally hit 500 cycles on a Garmin G1000 AHRS unit without a single fault flag

It was on a Cessna 182 based out of Daytona Beach that we've had for three years. I was convinced we'd see a sensor drift or a data bus hiccup by cycle 300, but the logs were clean. Anyone else have a specific component that just keeps running way past its expected trouble point?

That's some solid luck, but clean logs don't always mean perfect health. Those units can have latent issues that don't trip a flag right away. What's your plan for the next scheduled check?

Honestly grantp28 is right about the hidden issues. I'm just gonna run the full diagnostic suite again next month, even if the logs stay clean. Tbh it's cheap peace of mind.
