That FedEx guy who called out my wire routing still bugs me
Last spring at a hangar in Tucson, this delivery driver watched me lace a bundle through a bulkhead and said, 'you know that's gonna chafe in a year, right?' I laughed it off, but he was dead on, the wrap wore through by August on a King Air. He wasn't even a tech, just some guy who'd seen enough planes come and go. So here's the debate, do we listen to outside eyes more, or does that just invite noise from folks who don't know the inspection schedule? Has anyone else had a random comment from a non-avionics person that actually held up?

Tucson’s dry heat hides that too, wire chafe gets worse with vibration. Good catch still.
