Used to trust every connector until I found a cracked pin on a brand new harness last Friday

Now I back-probe every single pin before buttoning up a panel, even on fresh out of the box parts, because that one cracked shell cost me three hours of troubleshooting a ghost fault.

@sanchez.pat beat me to it, but yeah, cheap inspection scope or a bright light and a magnifying glass before install has saved me so much headache since the same thing happened to me. Always back-probe now, no matter how new the part is.

Skip the back probing and just buy better quality connectors.
