Water cache spots on the JMT that are marked wrong on Guthook

Just got back from a thru hike of the John Muir Trail last month. There are like 4 water sources on the southern half that the app says are reliable but they were totally dry when I hit them, especially around mile 87 near the Bear Creek crossing. I ended up carrying an extra 2 liters from a stream half a mile off trail because of it. If you're planning that stretch this year, double check the recent comments on those waypoints before you trust the blue dots. Anyone else run into dry caches on the JMT that the app swore were flowing?
