Last month I pulled up a 3 foot section of my patio in Sacramento after a corner sank about an inch, and now I'm stuck between my neighbor's gravel method and my uncle's sand bed. Honestly both guys have had their patios hold up for years, so I can't just pick the louder one. Anyone actually redone a patio base and seen which one lasts longer?
