That neighbor with the fake grass finally admitted something interesting
Overheard my neighbor Dave telling his buddy that his artificial turf hit 140 degrees last July during that heat wave. He spent $8,000 on installation two years ago and now he can't even walk his dog on it at noon. Made me think about all those "low maintenance" promises we see in ads. Has anyone else noticed their fake lawn turning into a griddle in the summer?

Oh man, try wetting it down first with a hose before you let the dog out.

Oh dude that totally worked for me! I just spray down the whole patio before letting my pup out and it keeps the dust down way better.

Have you ever tried putting down some cheap landscape fabric underneath the gravel? I did that at my old place and it cut down on the dust and mud tracking way more than just wetting it down.
