The $40 paver leveling sand I almost skipped
Used cheap playground sand for my patio stones last spring in Phoenix. First monsoon washed it all out. Just redid it with paver sand and it's solid, anyone else made that swap?

Learned that lesson with cheap sand too, swapped to paver lock and never looked back.
