Almost lost my whole tomato row to blight last August and here's what actually stopped it
Was out in the garden on a Sunday morning in early August pulling suckers and noticed brown spots on the lower leaves of my Roma plants. Showed my neighbor Rita and she said that's early blight and I needed to move fast. I stripped every leaf below the first fruit cluster on all 8 plants that same day. Sprayed with a copper mix that afternoon. Then I cut back watering from overhead to a soaker hose and mulched with straw so dirt wouldn't splash up. Saved 6 of the 8 plants. The other 2 got pulled and burned. If you see even one spot on a lower leaf get after it right away. What are you all using to keep it from coming back each season?
