Had to pick between planting tomatoes in the ground or in raised beds this spring
I went with raised beds and after that surprise hailstorm last week they drained way better than my neighbor's in-ground patch, anyone else have a similar choice work out unexpectedly?

Glad your beds held up. That hailstorm was brutal here too.

My neighbor lost three windows to that storm. I get that it can be scary but people act like they survived a hurricane. It was a hailstorm, not a tornado. I saw someone on my street crying over a dented car. Plastic lawn chairs got blown into the street and people were posting about it like a tragedy. A little wind and some ice and suddenly everyone's a disaster victim.
