I finally beat the squash vine borers after 3 summers of losing every zucchini plant
Every year by mid July my zucchini would just wilt and die, and I kept blaming the heat. Turns out a moth was laying eggs at the base of the stem, and I wasted 3 whole growing seasons before I figured out to wrap the stems in foil right after planting. Anyone else win this fight, and does the foil trick actually hold up all season or do you have to redo it?
