Were they just sprouting, or did you lose bigger ones?

So what do you even do when that happens... do you try to replant right away or just give up for the season? It feels so defeating to start over from scratch.

Ugh, that's the worst! I used to think a little rain was no big deal for seedlings. Totally get why you're still mad. @wells.karen makes a good point about the size mattering, but honestly, losing them at any stage feels bad. It's all that waiting for nothing. Now I always check the forecast right after I plant anything. A hard rain can just wipe out a whole batch in minutes.
