My zucchini plants went full Jurassic Park on me last week
I planted 4 zucchini seedlings in my backyard 3 months ago, and last week I walked out to find leaves the size of dinner plates and 2 squashes already as big as my forearm. I swear I blinked and missed the whole growing phase. My neighbor Mike peeked over the fence and asked if I was feeding them miracle grow or something. I didn't even fertilize once, just watered every other day. Has anyone else had a crop just explode out of nowhere like that?

I just plant mine in shitty soil and forget about them, they always go nuts.

My buddy tried that with his succulents last year and half of them rotted out in two weeks. Some plants can handle neglect but others just need a little more attention to get going strong. Most of the time if you actually give them decent soil and water on a schedule they'll grow way faster and look way better.
