Warning: That cheap trellis netting I bought shredded my bean crop

I picked up a roll of that dollar store plastic netting for my pole beans thinking it would save me $15. By July the whole thing sagged and snapped under the weight, and my beans ended up tangled on the ground rotting. Anybody else tried the mesh netting and had it fall apart on you?

Twine on wooden stakes works way better and costs almost nothing.

Ugh, same thing happened to me last year. Bought that exact cheap mesh netting and it was all stretched out by midsummer. The strands just snapped where the beans grabbed on and everything came crashing down. Such a waste of time and money, never again.

My neighbor told me to use that stuff and I laughed at him when his beans brought it down in like two weeks. I swear that netting is designed to fail, it's like they made it out of recycled grocery bags. Guess we all learned the hard way.
