Wasted $40 on those fabric raised bed planters that ripped apart in 3 months

I bought those cheap fabric raised bed planters off Amazon last spring thinking they'd be a great way to save space. They looked nice at first but after just 3 months the seams started splitting and soil was leaking everywhere. The handles ripped off when I tried to move one even a little bit. I ended up having to dump all the dirt out and buy proper wooden ones from Lowe's instead. Lost $40 total on those things plus the time fixing the mess. Anyone else tried those fabric beds and had them fall apart fast?

Man those things are the worst. Were yours the ones that look like giant felt bags with the velcro straps around the edges? I got a set of three and the seams on the bottom gave out before the first season was even over. I had dirt trails leading out from under them every time it rained. What brand were they so I know which ones to completely avoid?

@mary_martin22 yeah the dirt trails thing... ugh. Mine were those same velcro strap bags, seams blew out on two of them in less than a year. I think it's a cheap brand called "Garden Solutions" or something like that, got them at a big box store. The fabric just couldn't hold up to any real weight, started tearing where the straps connect too. I'd stay far away from anything that looks like that felt bag design honestly.
