Why does nobody talk about growing tomatoes in buckets instead of raised beds?
I swore by my 4x8 cedar raised bed for years until my neighbor Carol in Boise showed me her setup last spring. She grows Big Boy tomatoes in plain 5 gallon buckets with holes drilled in the bottom and hers were twice the size of mine by July. The buckets warm up faster and I can move them around when we get that weird June hail. Anyone else ditched the fancy beds for buckets or am I late to this?
