Finally caught the BMW who parks in the fire lane every morning at my gym

For 6 weeks straight this silver 3 series would block the fire lane outside my gym in Arlington at 6am. I took photos 4 different times and sent them to the building manager. Did anyone else ever actually get management to do something about chronic bad parkers?

Wait, is this my silver 3 series? Because I DEFINITELY don't park in fire lanes, I just "temporarily stop" there while I run in for a "quick stretch." Honestly, I'm the worst at parallel parking so I'd Probably end up half on the curb anyway, making the whole fire lane thing look like a pro move. Props to you for actually documenting it for 6 weeks, I lose my patience after like 3 photos of the same Prius blocking the crosswalk at my grocery store. Maybe the building manager just thinks you're REALLY dedicated to exposing bad parking habits like it's your part time job.

I really laughed at the "temporarily stop" part because I feel like that's every driver's excuse when they get caught. I swear I read somewhere that like 80% of people think their own parking is fine and everyone else's is terrible. And yeah, six weeks of documenting is some next level dedication, I can't even remember to grab my reusable bags half the time. But honestly, maybe the building manager just sees him as that one annoying tenant who's always taking photos and complaining. I've heard in some buildings they just ignore people who complain too much unless it's a fire hazard or blocking a real emergency vehicle.

And Emery199 is right, most people think their own parking is fine while everyone else is an idiot.
