Found a way to get the lazy parkers at my apartment complex to stop taking two spots

I live in a complex near Nashville where the spots are already tight. Every single day there was this one guy in a silver Altima who would park dead center over the line, taking up two spots. Management wouldn't do anything. So last month I started leaving a sticky note on his windshield that just said "Nice parking, Karen" with a little smiley face. He stopped doing it after about a week. I was super skeptical it would work but I guess nobody likes being called Karen. Anyone else ever try passive aggressive notes and actually get results?

Put a note on my neighbor's giant lifted truck for the same thing, dude was straddling the line every night. I just wrote "You park like you drive, badly" and signed it "Your HOA President" even though we don't have one. He must have thought it was official because he stopped the next day. Sometimes a little public shaming works better than any complaint to management.

My buddy in Chattanooga put a note on a guy's windshield that just said "You forgot to park between the lines" and drew a little sad face. The driver actually came to his door two days later with a six-pack of beer and apologized, said he was rushing to see his kid's soccer game every night. So sometimes a dumb sticky note can turn a jerk into a neighbor, at least in his case.
