Hot take: the guy parked across 2 spots at my gym is not the worst one there
Everyone piles on the guy in the white Tacoma taking up 2 spots at the Planet Fitness on Bell Rd, but last Tuesday I watched 3 people park in the fire lane by the front door to save 40 feet of walking. The double-parker at least leaves room for someone else, the fire lane folks would block a truck if the building ever went up. Am I wrong for thinking the lazy short walk is worse than the sloppy park?
You ever notice how people always go after the small stuff while the stuff that could actually hurt someone gets a pass? It's like that everywhere. Someone double parks and the internet wants them drawn and quartered, but the guy blowing through the crosswalk with his phone out gets nothing. Honestly the fire lane thing bugs me way more too, because that's not just rude, that's a real choice that says "my time matters more than everyone's safety." The double parker might just be bad at parking, but the fire lane people know exactly what they're doing.
