I used to do the slow burn angry note thing on bad parkers, now I just snap a pic and post it here
For like 2 years I was the guy who left notes on windshields. I keep a little notepad in my glovebox for work stuff, so it was easy. I wrote stuff like 'nice parking job, genius' and once I left a note that just said 'really?' with three question marks. Then one day at the Target on Camelback in Phoenix, this lady came back to her minivan while I was still writing my note and she started crying. Not mad crying, just tired crying, and she said she was 8 months pregnant and had to pee so bad she just parked wherever. I felt like a total jerk. Now I just take a photo and put it here. I get the same laugh out of it, and I don't have to see anybody's face. It's way better for my blood pressure honestly. Anybody else used to be a windshield note person and switched to just posting? What made you stop?
Buddy of mine did the note thing for years too, until he left one on a car at a Walmart and watched the guy come out in a wheelchair with one of those handicap tags he had forgotten to hang up. My friend said he just stood there frozen, then walked the other way fast. After that he quit cold turkey and started just taking pics for the same reason you did. Seeing the actual person kills the fun real quick, and honestly the note thing was never about them anyway, it was about us getting to feel right for two minutes. Posting is cleaner, nobody cries, and I stay out of it.
