Parked in a fire lane for 5 years until a fire truck showed up
I used to park in the fire lane behind my apartment complex every night because it was close to my door. Then last Tuesday a fire truck came screaming in and couldn't get through because of my car and like 4 others blocking the lane. Have any of you had a close call that made you rethink where you park?

Oh man, you dodged a real bullet there. I've had similar close calls. After my neighbor's car got towed blocking a hydrant, I started parking far away from any lanes or spots near curbs. Best move I ever made was to always park at the end of the lot even if it adds a five-minute walk. It saves the headache and the risk of getting towed or worse. Plus, walking a little extra is good for you anyway.

Dodged a bullet there honestly lol. I used to always park in the handicap spot at my grocery store just to run in quick, figured nobody would notice. One day this old guy in a wheelchair was waiting by my car looking super frustrated, and I felt like such a jerk. Now I just park in the back of the lot even if its raining, way less stress lol.
