The BMW that parked on my lawn for 3 hours in Columbus

Came home last Tuesday to find a silver 530i sitting right on my front yard, tire tracks dug into the grass about 4 inches deep. Turns out the guy was visiting my neighbor and thought the lawn was a parking spot, even with a wide open driveway 20 feet away. Do people just lose all sense of boundaries when they see open green space, or is this a BMW thing I should expect again?
