The curb cut rule I never knew till I got a $95 ticket
I parked along this quiet residential street in Portland last month, thought I was fine because I was two feet from the driveway ramp. Turns out the city counts any blockage of the curb cut, even if you're not touching the actual driveway. I looked it up after the ticket and found out Oregon law treats the whole sloped area as a no-park zone, not just the flat part. My neighbor got the same fine two years ago and said she fought it and lost. Has anyone else gotten burned by that hidden rule and actually argued it in court?
