The parking lot at my old grocery store got way worse over 10 years

I went back to the Publix I used to shop at in Tampa last week, and I couldn't believe how bad the parking has gotten. Back in 2014, you might see one car parked crooked maybe once a month. Now there are people blocking fire lanes and taking up two spaces every single time I go. I counted five bad parking jobs in just one loop around the lot. I think it's because the store expanded and the lot layout got all messed up, making the spots too narrow for bigger cars. Has anyone else noticed their local lots getting worse over the last decade or am I just unlucky?

Taking up two spaces every single time" - I had a buddy who used to work at a Target in Orlando and he said the same thing. He'd watch this one lady in a giant Suburban park diagonally across three spots near the front door like she was the main character. One time she got out and actually yelled at him for suggesting she move. The lot layout thing makes sense though, I went to that Publix once with him and the spots felt like they were designed for a Honda Civic from 1998. Bigger cars plus tighter spaces plus people who just don't care equals a total mess.
