Two days ago I watched a guy park his F-250 diagonally across three EV charging spots at a Target in Phoenix

I was sitting in my car waiting for a spot to open up and this dude just pulled in and took over three spaces like it was nothing. There were maybe 8 regular spots open 30 feet away. He got out, looked right at me, and shrugged. I asked him why he did that and he said "my truck's too big for those little lines." Has anyone else noticed people with big trucks just parking however they want lately?

Parking farther out worked for me when my old truck felt too big for tight spots.

Can't believe @david562's buddy actually calls it his "zone of solitude." That's dedication right there. I'd probably forget where I parked and wander around for 20 minutes.

My buddy had this old Bronco that was a bear to squeeze into spots, so he started parking a mile away just to avoid the hassle. Ended up getting more steps in every day, which was a nice bonus (plus saved him from door dings from careless neighbors). Now he parks far out by choice even with his newer smaller car, calls it his "zone of solitude.
