Vent: Spent 45 minutes arguing over the handicapped parking spot at Walmart in Akron

I saw a guy park dead center over the striped access zone next to a handicapped spot. He said he was "just picking up a prescription" and it would only take five minutes. I timed him and it took 22 minutes to come out, and another person in a wheelchair had to wait. The manager came out and said they couldn't do anything because it's private property. So which side are you on, should people confront bad parking or just take a photo and move on? Has anyone actually gotten a store to do something about these spots?

22 minutes for a quick trip, that's ridiculous. Sorry you had to deal with that.

Has anyone else ever timed someone and felt like a total weirdo doing it, or is that just me? I once stood by a cart corral pretending to check my phone just so I could count how long this dude took in a fire lane.
