Watched a guy in a Tacoma park ON TOP of the painted median at the Walmart on Colfax, then he got out and acted like nothing happened
So last Tuesday I'm leaving the Walmart on Colfax in Denver around 6pm and the lot is packed like always, and I spot this silver Tacoma just sitting there, except he's not in a space at all. He's parked right on the hatched median between two rows, all four wheels up on that little painted island like it's his own personal VIP spot. I sat there staring for a good ten seconds because I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. Then the guy hops out with his cart, walks around the front, and starts loading groceries like he just won the parking lottery. An older woman in a RAV4 starts honking at him because he's blocking the whole lane to get around the median, and he just waves at her all friendly, like she's saying hi. I rolled down my window to snap a pic for this sub and he saw me doing it and gave me a thumbs up, which somehow made it worse. Anyway, what's the weirdest spot you've caught someone treating like a real parking space?
