Shoutout to the roommate who got me to split a $900 Costco run and ate maybe $80 of it
My roommate Jess talked me into a joint Costco stock-up last spring, and I put $900 on my card for the freezer stuff, paper goods, and a bulk pack of everything you can think of, plus $260 for a chest freezer we agreed to split. She moved out in July, took the freezer, and left me with 40 pounds of frozen chicken and a pantry full of rice I still have not touched. Why do roommates always pitch bulk buying like it saves money when you end up eating the same six meals for a year?
